Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is seeking a PRN LPN to join our inpatient psychiatric unit. The LPN will perform nursing care for adults with mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders under RN supervision, following Joint Commission and hospital protocols.

Essential duties include data collection, documentation, administering medications, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• LPN license and current state registration.
• Proficient patient assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs and patient status.
• Strong communication with care team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients per plan.
• Document accurately in patient records and communicate findings.
• Administer medications and monitor effects per policy.
• Assist with ADLs and patient comfort.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
• Precept new staff and support team duties.
