Qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN basis in a long-term care environment. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring residents’ health, comfort, and overall well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents’ conditions, including vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Assist in developing, updating, and implementing individualized care plans
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations
• Respond to resident needs, concerns, and emergencies in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Missouri, in good standing

Schedule & Availability

• PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling
• Must be willing to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance)
