Job description

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City has an immediate opening for a Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.

Responsibilities include:

1. Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient.
2. Maintains contact with family and significant others when appropriate; provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy.
3. Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community-based social and mental health agencies.
4. Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post-discharge follow-up to ensure linkage with community resources, reducing re-hospitalization.
5. Facilitates daily group sessions with patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Knowledge acquired through completion of an accredited School of Mental Health Counseling, Human Services, or Social Work. Must be license eligible in Arkansas.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience in a Residential, Community, or Behavioral Health setting.
• Schedule: Flexible.
