Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City has an immediate opening for a Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.

Responsibilities of our Licensed Therapist include:

• Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing updates or detailed reassessments of the patient
• Maintaining contact with family and significant others when appropriate, and providing patient and family education, support, and advocacy
• Providing coordination and acting as liaison with community-based social and mental health agencies
• Facilitating discharge planning and conducting post-discharge follow-up to ensure linkage with community resources, reducing re-hospitalization
• Facilitating group sessions with patients daily

Qualifications:

• Education: Knowledge acquired through completion from an accredited School of Mental Health Counseling, Human Services, or Social Work. Must be license eligible in Arkansas.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a Residential, Community, or Behavioral Health setting is preferred.
• Schedule: Flexible
