Job summary

Stonecreek in Paducah, KY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts in our 90-bed community. You will provide bedside care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support a warm, uplifting environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Kentucky.
• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care.
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Assist with resident comfort and daily activities.
• Prepare and administer injections where appropriate.
• Provide wound care and contribute to care planning.

LPN responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
• Assist with resident comfort
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Provide wound care
• Help coach staff as necessary

LPN qualifications:

• Up to date first aid and CPR certification
• Current LPN license in the state
• At least one year of LPN experience in a Long Term Care Setting preferred
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
