Job summary

Highland Care Center is actively seeking qualified LPNs to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves delivering nursing care under the Director of Nursing and supervising a program aide to support nursing services.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering medication, documenting care, communicating changes to Nurses, Physicians and family, and preparing residents for transfers or discharge while maintaining accurate records. This PRN position offers daily pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN license in good standing.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.

LPN Responsibilities

The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and for supervising the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services.

Daily Pay Available

LPN Requirements

• Must have a valid LPN license in good standing.


• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.


• Completion of orientation required by company policy.


• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.


• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.


• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.


• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.


• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
