Qualifications

• Licensed or licensed eligible.
• Active member of Clinical Services/Social Work department.
• Maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.
• Knowledge of basic social work principles and practices for all ages and therapeutic intervention techniques.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapeutic environment.
• Two+ years post-graduate clinical experience; psychiatric setting preferred.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of social theories and practices.
• Empathy and social perceptiveness.
• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Cover group therapy sessions for partial hospitalization program staff.
• Collaborate with the PHP Manager, Doctor, and Nurse.
• Provide group facilitation coverage and assess patients with mental health/substance use concerns.
