Job summary

Texas Oncology, part of The US Oncology Network, is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to support Midland and Odessa locations. The role requires readiness to cover PTO and staffing needs, with at least 2 days per month availability. Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience, with no weekends or major holidays.

The position emphasizes IV admixture experience, adherence to USP and state guidelines, and a collaborative, patient-centered environment within a growing oncology network.

Qualifications

• IV sterile compounding experience and certification preferred
• Entry-level pharmacy experience acceptable for Level 1
• ASHP/college-based program recommended for Sr level

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered by a physician in accurate, timely manner.
• Maintain temperature logs and documentation for patient assistance drugs.
• Manage inventory, lot numbers, and expiration dating.
