Job summary

Texas Oncology in Odessa, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to join our team in a full-time, weekday schedule (8:30am-5pm). The role supports IV admixture, medication preparation, and inventory control under supervision in a clinic or hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have IV compounding experience, a high school diploma, and a pharmacy tech certification (or be eligible). Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate recommended unless state law requires.
• IV sterile compounding experience highly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain temperature logs and inventory controls; support documentation and pre-billing review.
