Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to support the Odessa location. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with no weekends or major holidays. The position supports various admixture and dispensing tasks under supervision in a clinic/pharmacy setting.

The ideal candidate will have IV compounding experience and a pharmacy background, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred to assist diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level experience in a pharmacy preferred.
• IV sterile compounding experience highly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered in an accurate and timely manner per guidelines.
• Calculate dosage volumes and convert between metric systems.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory controls for medications.
