Job summary

Paycom in Reston, VA is seeking a PRN Interventional Radiology Sedation RN to deliver specialized nursing care for diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures requiring moderate (conscious) sedation. You will perform pre-procedure assessments, administer sedation, monitor vitals, and support recovery and discharge education.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (or compact state)
• BLS required, ACLS required
• Conscious/Moderate Sedation certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and schedule per policy and accreditation standards.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Manage IV access, fluids, medications, and airway as needed.
• Perform narcotics counts and secure/record controlled substances.
• Provide post-procedure recovery, hand-off, and follow-up communications.
