Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation service. Frequency Fridays are required, with additional weekday and weekend shifts available as needed.

In this role you will evaluate patient abilities, create personalized therapy plans, deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain, document outcomes, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required and Texas license or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• PRN availability with Friday shifts preferred; additional weekdays/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while exemplifying HCA Healthcare values.
