Job summary

University Health System - San Antonio seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to plan, develop and implement treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients. You will supervise non‑professional staff and contribute to educational activities within the Rehab team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, a current PT license, and a valid BLS card, with Medicaid/Medicare provider eligibility or plans to obtain provider numbers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• One year experience as a licensed PT preferred.
• Must have and maintain current PT licensure.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider or Instructor Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides supervision of patient care duties delegated to non professional staff.
• Participates in educational programs and team-based care activities.
• Assists with evaluation and supervision of assistants, aides and students.
