Methodist Hospital Stone Oak Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient rehab team. You will deliver targeted exercises, apply PT techniques, and closely monitor patient progress to support mobility and independence.

We welcome Licensed PTAs in Texas with BLS and a preference for 1+ year inpatient rehab experience. This PRN role offers scheduling flexibility within a leading hospital system known for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science in PTA from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Prefer one or more years of inpatient rehab experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.
