Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed, good standing pharmacist in NV required.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call as needed.
• IV experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer savvy to operate multiple pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and checks drug/dose using the pharmacy system.
• Supervises Pharmacy Technicians and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Adjusts dosages per established protocols and supports antimicrobial stewardship.
• Educates patients on medication use and discharge plans.
• Manages narcotics, inventory control, and compliance audits.
• Coordinates with nurses and physicians to verify orders.
• Supports Pharmacy Director in accreditation efforts and system changes.
