Job summary

Del Corazon Hospice in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a compassionate PRN Hospice RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals facing serious illness. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement care plans, manage pain and symptoms, and offer emotional and spiritual support to patients and families.

This per diem role provides scheduling flexibility and autonomy, with opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN licensure.
• Experience of 1 year in acute care within last 2 years or 1 year in home health, community health, hospice.
• Current BCLS certification and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Provide direct patient care including wound management, medications, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care.
• Document care and communicate with team members and physicians.
