Job summary

Del Corazon Hospice is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice nursing visits across Albuquerque, NM and surrounding communities. This full-time role focuses on skilled nursing care, symptom management, and patient-centered comfort in home settings, aligning with our mission to support patients and families at the end of life.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or eligible to practice in NM.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; hospice/home health preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Case manage hospice patients in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
• Availability for after-hours emergency visits (Mon-Thu) for assigned patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and manage pain/symptoms per physician plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the plan of care.
• Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families through the hospice journey.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and document in EMR.
• Advocate for comfort-focused, patient-centered care.
