Job summary

A Path of Care Hospice in Hugo, OK is seeking a PRN Chaplain to support patients and families with spiritual care. You’ll provide bereavement and spiritual assessments, contribute to Plan of Care, and document in the hospice chart.

You will coordinate with local religious resources, work as part of the care team, and bring empathy, reliability, and strong communication to a supportive, growth‑minded workplace that values its employees.

Qualifications

• Ordained minister or chaplain in good standing.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Creativity and motivational skills needed.
• Must work as part of the team to provide care to patients and families faced with a terminal illness.
• Must understand the grief process both in dealing with patients and their families.
• Must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance and a valid Oklahoma driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support and assessment to patients and families.
• Assist in bereavement services and in the interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
• Maintain accurate hospice documentation and chart records.
• Develop and coordinate relations with community religious resources and liaise with local religious leaders.
