Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a PRN Hospice Aide for Methodist Hill Country Hospice in Texas. The role supports the interdisciplinary team under RN supervision, delivering essential personal care and ensuring patient comfort while observing and documenting care and patient needs.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate state training. Excellent communication with patients and families is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

• Responsible for observing the patient and reporting these observations; documents observations and care performed
• Provides patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group, works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient, as necessary, to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort.
