Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy in patients’ homes. The role requires performing catheter access, vital signs, medications administration, and patient education, with notes submitted promptly through electronic charting.

This PRN position offers flexible visits and mileage reimbursement. Ideal candidates have an active RN license and at least 1 year of infusion therapy experience, plus reliable transportation and insurance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competence in infusion duties.
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, and medication administration.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Create visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.
