Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Chicago, IL area.

Position Overview

As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside the hospital setting in a growing specialized area of nursing. This role offers a balanced work schedule and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

1. Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
2. Use your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in their home environment.
3. Conduct home infusion nursing care visits and patient education per physician’s treatment plan.
4. Possibly require additional licensure for multi-state service areas.
5. Maintain excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and partners.
6. Engage in continuous training on advanced technology and clinical requirements in infusion therapy. Certification expenses may be reimbursed for eligible RNs, such as IgCN.

Role Details

This PRN role involves visiting patients in the greater Chicago area, with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Illinois RN license; ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; IV experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Preferred:

• Three years of nursing experience.
• One year of infusion experience.

Education

RN Diploma, Associate’s, or B.S. degree in nursing.
