Job description

PRN Home Infusion / IVIG RN - Rapidly Expanding Market

Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Knoxville, TN area.

As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. Our nurses have the luxury of having a work-life balance. Their work schedule also provides an opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with their patients.

As a Home Infusion RN you will:

  1. Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes.
  2. Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients in the comfort of their own home.
  3. Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  4. Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist, and other partners.
  5. Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN)!

In this PRN role, you will visit patients in greater Knoxville and surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid and mileage is reimbursed.

Registered Nurses (RN) with AIS Healthcare have a uniquely rewarding setting to use their exceptional nursing skills. As a national leader in the home infusion / IVIG field, we seek those special RNs who not only possess strong clinical expertise with creative ideas but who also have the kind of deep compassion and sensitivity it takes to treat people in their homes.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Registered Nurse with current license in Tennessee and the ability to be licensed in other states. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
  2. Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus.
  3. Have and maintain current CPR certification.
  4. Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause).
  5. Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Three years' nursing experience.
  2. One year infusion experience.

Education: RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing.
