Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the New Orleans, LA area.

Position Overview

As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside the hospital setting in a growing specialized nursing field. This role offers a balanced work life, allowing you to build one-on-one relationships with patients while avoiding long hospital shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
2. Utilize your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients at home.
3. Conduct home infusion nursing visits and patient education per physician’s plan.
4. Maintain licensure in multiple states as required.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and partners.
6. Engage in continuous training on advanced infusion technology and clinical requirements, with expenses reimbursed for eligible certifications like IgCN.

Additional Details

This PRN role involves travel within the Greater New Orleans area, with occasional trips up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current RN license in Louisiana (additional licenses may be needed for multi-state service).
• At least one year of nursing experience; IV experience is a plus.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance meeting specified liability limits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

• Three years of nursing experience.
• One year of infusion experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience.

Education

RN Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
