Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Fort Payne, AL. This PRN position offers 1:1 patient care, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work independently with team support within a growing home health network.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating care plans, administering medications, educating families, and maintaining thorough documentation. Requires RN license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college with current licensure in the state of practice
• One year nursing practice in a patient care setting required; home health/geriatrics preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insurance as per policy
• New graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
• Create home health care plans aligned with MD orders and patient goals
• Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions
• Provide pain and symptom management
• Educate and support patient’s family and caregivers
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch
