Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PT Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule and autonomy to balance work and life while delivering meaningful, patient-focused care in Amarillo, TX and surrounding areas.

The position requires a Texas PTA license, home health experience preferred, and strong communication. Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is a plus as you support patient goals and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
