Job summary

Acadiana Endoscopy Center Inc. in Lafayette, LA is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support admit, recovery, and procedure rooms in gastroenterology. The RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Louisiana licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Louisiana.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• One year RN experience required.
• Gastroenterology/endoscopy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

• Works in admit, recovery, and procedure rooms.
• Maintains patient privacy per HIPAA and regulations.
• Follows facility standards and SOPs.
• Makes informed decisions to provide appropriate patient care.
• Operates equipment safely and accurately.
• Performs pre-procedure assessments and reassessments.
• Provides patients with information regarding procedures.
