Advanced Endoscopy Center in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking a PRN GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory team. The RN will deliver patient care and support efficient office operations in a procedural setting.

Position requires weekday availability with no holidays or weekends; some later evenings may be required. Competitive pay and benefits available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum of two years' OR experience (preferred).
• Current State RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to interact tactfully with patients, families, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Knows and adheres to Center policies and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals and objectives for non-acutely ill patients.
• Understands needs of all age groups in the patient population.
• Follows OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Maintains good body mechanics.
• Remains calm and functions as a team member during stress or crisis.
• Takes vital signs and applies/monitors V/S, documents appropriately.
• Cross trains as a GI Technician.
• Follows employee health and other staffing policies.
