Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a PRN Registered Nurse GI for El Paso Center for Gastro & Endo.

You will plan, execute, direct and evaluate nursing care for endoscopy patients across preop, intraop, and postop stages, with schedule adjustments based on surgical flow. The role requires TX RN licensure, BLS/ACLS; one year endoscopy/ambulatory experience is preferred, and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• TX state license required for RN practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS within 6 months of hire).
• CGRN board eligibility/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.
• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care and ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians and healthcare team, provide complete status reports during procedures.
