Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Veterans care facility in Flagstaff, AZ. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and meaningful work supporting a geriatric population.

The RN will administer medications, complete admission assessments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork are essential, with ARIZONA RN license and CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, LTC or skilled nursing preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 7-year background check, drug screen, competency testing, TB test, Hepatitis B status, and COVID vaccination documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments within RN scope.
• Complete admission assessments and assist with MDS care planning.
• Monitor and assess resident conditions; report changes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EMR records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and support CNA/LPN staff as needed.
• Assist with ADLs when required (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Participate in shift reports, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize AMS tools for problem-solving and process improvement.
