Colorado in Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. This float position provides coverage across Northern Colorado offices, with hours roughly 7am–6pm for 20–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and maintaining HIPAA privacy. A high school diploma and customer-service experience in healthcare are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience at medical front desk preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Familiar with EMR, scheduling systems, phones, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling, and insurance professionally.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists and cancellations.
• Collect copays and balances accurately, with basic payment reconciliation when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all interactions.
