Job summary

Amcare Pro Home Health, Palliative Care & Hospice is actively seeking compassionate LVN professionals for PRN field positions serving Fort Worth, Arlington, White Settlement and surrounding areas. You will travel to patient homes and deliver skilled nursing care with independence and clinical support from a supervising RN.

Qualified applicants hold a valid Texas LVN license and CPR/BLS, with home-health or hospice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license required.
• Current CPR or BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, home health or hospice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patients' homes as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and plan of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN or physician promptly.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care instructions.

Amcare Pro Home Health, Palliative Care & Hospice is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses for PRN field positions serving patients in Fort Worth, Arlington, White Settlement and surrounding areas.

Our Licensed Vocational Nurses provide skilled, patient-centered care in the comfort of each patient's home. This role supports patients in safely managing their conditions while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patients' homes
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders and the established plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report significant changes to the supervising Registered Nurse or physician
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, treatments, safety, and care instructions
• Communicate regularly with the supervising Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary care team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow infection-control procedures, agency policies, and applicable regulations
• Travel to patients throughout Fort Worth, Arlington, and surrounding areas

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred
• Home health, hospice, or palliative care experience preferred
• WellSky/Kinnser experience is a plus
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
