Job Description:

Plans and implements Recreation, Music, Art, and/or Dance and Movement Therapy interventions to enhance development and daily living skills, and may supervise Expressive Therapy students with limited oversight.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduation from a college program with a major in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or Dance and Movement Therapy.
• Current certification or registry in these fields or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Verbal and written communication skills for leading therapy sessions and documentation.
• Possess or obtain RQI certification within 60 days, and maintain it.
• For inpatient mental health roles, obtain CBMT training if in BHAC and Community Safety/Verbal De-escalation training within 90 days, maintaining during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in Artistic Expressive Therapy.
