This role requires a high school diploma (two years of college preferred) and computer proficiency to navigate electronic medical records and hospital systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of college preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with medical staff, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, direct them, and answer questions.
• Initiate medical records upon admission and maintain during stay.
• Initiate follow-up regarding doctors’ orders.
• Process patient and special charges.
• Serve as unit receptionist for calls and visitors.
