Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and Unit Secretary certification (preferred).

No prior experience is required, though prior work in a medical environment is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Unit Secretary is responsible for nursing unit communication.
• Functions include serving as a receptionist, maintaining patient records, and transcribing and communicating physician orders.
• Maintain order at the nursing station and perform other related duties as assigned.
