Job summary

Parkside GI Surgicenter, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a Registered Endoscopy Nurse for PRN opportunities. In this role you will deliver intra-operative nursing care for surgical and GI patients and function as circulating or scrub nurse as needed.

You will oversee instrument setup, coordinate the room during cases, and ensure smooth transitions between procedures while maintaining patient safety and high quality care. PRN schedule supports flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years in an operating room setting; ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• RN license required; compact licensure acceptable.
• BCLS certification required (online not acceptable).
• ACLS certification as required by the facility.
• CNOR/SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup and ensure OR readiness.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transitions between procedures.
• Utilize and update preference cards for cases as needed.
