Additional Job Description

WVU School of Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine seek a PRN Emergency Medicine physician (MD or DO) for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The candidate will practice in Fairmont, WV at Fairmont Medical Center, with possible assignments at additional sites in WV, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, which may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Practice in emergency medicine, providing excellent patient care.
• Involve in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical license.
• Completed emergency medicine residency and/or fellowship for internal medicine and/or family medicine board-certified physicians.
• ABEM board certification or eligibility in WV.

Fairmont, WV, located 30 minutes from Morgantown, hosts the Fairmont Medical Center with a full-service ER staffed by board-certified physicians, equipped with labs and imaging services, providing acute care for adults and children.
