Job summary

Kansas Health System is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for Liberty Hospital on a PRN/Part-time basis. The role involves performing routine and complex echocardiography studies, including stress tests, while ensuring patient safety and clear communication with the health team.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and ideally completed an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or related degree. Proficiency in IV/UEA management is a plus and on-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Preference for graduates from accredited cardiac ultrasound programs or cardiovascular-related degrees.
• Experience or training in IV/UEA administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Interact with patients, explain procedures and obtain consent.
• Ensure safety, comfort and patient cooperation during procedures.
• Assist in on-call echocardiographic services under cardiologist direction.
• Maintain documentation and quality control of imaging data.
