Job summary

Specimen Specialists is seeking a PER DIEM DNA collector for the Sabine Parish District Attorney Office in Many, LA. The role involves buccal swab collections for clients in pending child support cases. Shifts are per diem, usually on Tuesdays, with hours from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Training is provided online and over the phone, and transportation to the site for each testing shift is required. Having a medical background is preferred but not required.

• Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
• Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled
• Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
• Keep track of supply inventory and order as needed
• Able to work with the public and be friendly and professional

Specimen Specialists is looking to hire a candidate to join our team and serve as a PER DIEM DNA collector for DNA testing at the SabineParish District Attorney Office in Many, LA. The main role of the job will be providing DNA testing (buccal swab) to our clients for their pending child support cases. This schedule will to fill in for as needed in which you will be asked to cover when needed and given as much notice as possible.

PLEASE NOTE - This position is as needed - PER DIEM

• DRAW SITE: SABINE PARISH DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE
• SCHEDULE: Shifts are usually on Tuesdays as needed per diem shifts
• FIRST SUBSTITUTE SHIFT: Tuesday 10/27- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THIS DAY.
• HOURS: 9:00am-12:00pm
