Job summary

SPECIMEN SPECIALISTS OF AMERICA, INC. is seeking a part-time DNA sample collector in Grants, NM to conduct buccal swab collections for families with pending child support cases through the Dept. of Human Services.

The role requires reliability, professional conduct, and the ability to work both in teams and independently. Hours are extremely limited: 11:00am–1:00pm on one shift per month, with a background check upon hire and online training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform cheek swab specimen collections
• Take photos and ink prints of clients
• Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled
• Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
• Keep track of supply inventory and order as needed
• Able to work with the public and be friendly and professional

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VERY PART TIME POSITION - ONLY ONE SHIFT PER MONTH!

We are looking for the right candidate to add to our network of DNA collectors to conduct paternity testing (buccal swab) on families who have pending child support cases through the Dept. of Human Services - Grants, NM. PLEASE NOTE - This is position is only 1 shift per month and is an extremely part-time position. This is a perfect opportunity to earn additional income while providing a valuable service for families in New Mexico.

Having a medical background is preferred but not required for this position. Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude.

All new hires will be subject to a background check upon hire

• DRAW SITE:Dept. of Human Services - Truth or Consequences, NM
• UPCOMING SHIFTS: ONE WEDNESDAY PER MONTH
• Hours: 11:00am-1:00pm

All staff will receive complete online training andover-the-phone training, as well as supplies needed for the job.
