Job summary

CooperRiis Healing Community in Mill Spring, NC seeks PRN Residential Support Staff - Direct Care to provide compassionate 1:1 support and ensure safe daily operations. The role covers day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts across the Mill Spring site.

Responsibilities include safety rounds, bedtime routines, documentation, medication administration in the med room, and timely communication with shift staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience in a residential community or transitional living program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security of the facility inside and outside during hourly rounds.
• Support residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules.
• Complete bed checks as needed.
• Complete timely documentation.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing community spaces.
• Build rapport and provide support based on residents' goals.
• Administer routine and as-needed medications; work in the med room.
• Problem-solve and respond to crisis situations.
• Communicate to shift staff for support when help is needed.
