Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Bloomington, IN seeks a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures in a Primary Care clinic. You will follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients from pediatric to geriatric to obtain diagnostic images.

Requirements include Basic Life Support, ability to maneuver equipment in limited spaces, and current ARRT RT(R) certification or board eligibility with credential obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and position patients even when conditions change.
• ARRT RT(R) credential or board eligibility; if board eligible, credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
• ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis.
• Works with patients from pediatric to geriatric.
• Follows physician's instructions and prepares/operates equipment.
• Positions patients correctly to obtain requested diagnostic images.
• Treats patients with care and respect.
