Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality images.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients with AIDET communication, operating CT equipment, maintaining records in RIS/PACS, and upholding Joint Commission standards. Required ARRT credentials and accredited radiologic program.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications required.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history.
• Operate CT equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy; ensure correct patient identification.
• Restock supplies and ensure equipment readiness; document procedures in RIS/PACS.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and provide clear pre/post-procedure explanations.
