Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform imaging procedures with a patient-centered approach. The role requires operating CT and radiographic equipment, preparing patients, and coordinating with radiologists for quality studies.

The candidate should hold ARRT Radiography and CT credentials, BLS certification, and possess strong communication skills to support a fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
• Required: Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT Radiography and CT certifications.
• BLS or ARC-BLS required; Instructor preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure; patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Position patients and operate CT and radiographic equipment.
• Obtain and verify patient identity and consent; ensure privacy and comfort.
• administer contrast materials per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review images with radiologist and ensure timely PACS submission.
• Maintain equipment with routine QC and report malfunctions.
• Assist with QA/QC, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
