American Health Imaging in Athens, GA is seeking a registered PRN CT Technologist to perform high quality CT scans and provide compassionate patient care to patients.

As a CT Technologist, you will select appropriate protocols, explain procedures, position patients, monitor exams, and ensure safety by following ALARA and HIPAA guidelines. ARRT CT Registry and current BLS/CPR are required.

Formación

• Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT and CT Registry required.
• Current BLS/CPR training.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT examinations and critique images for diagnostic quality.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Position patients and assist with in/out of table.
• Monitor patients during exams and obtain medical history.
• Administer IV contrast and manage adverse effects.
• Perform QA on CT scanner daily/monthly and follow ALARA guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance and infection control.
