Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Radiographer/CT Technologist to join the General Radiology team. You will perform radiology procedures and CT scans, ensuring adherence to protocol and safety standards while delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, documenting procedures, and maintaining strict accuracy in imaging workflows, with emphasis on ALARA principles and patient safety in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiographer certification.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Iowa Department of Public Health permit required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately within established turnaround times.
• Provides CT examinations within imaging guidelines and follows protocol.
• Administers contrast agents per procedure guidelines and monitors flow rates.
• Documents all relevant information during procedures and maintains accurate records.
• Adheres to ALARA safety practices and radiation monitoring requirements.
• Maintains patient identification, history, exam labeling, and documentation with attention to detail.
