Job summary

Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a skilled PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology Team. The role offers $175 per hour with additional compensation for shifts beyond the first two, PRN schedule, and two shifts per month.

Responsibilities include administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia, pre- and post-anesthesia care, narcotic accounting, and readiness of equipment. Wisconsin licensure and CRNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the state where practice is located
• CRNA certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license (APRN) in Wisconsin
• DEA registration

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia services including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Induction, maintenance and emergence while monitoring patient safety
• Post-anesthesia care, analgesia planning and coordination with surgeon
• Narcotic accounting and distribution
• Responds to emergencies (Code Blue/Code 4) and maintains airway as directed
• May assist with labor analgesia and IV access as needed
