Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures. You will administer anesthetics, monitor patient vitals, and respond to intraoperative and postoperative events.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, CRNA certification, and state APRN credentials, with 24/7 call availability and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license to practice in Wisconsin.
• CRNA certification required.
• APRN license/credentialing required.
• DEA registration required.
• PALS/ACLS/NRP certifications within 6 months if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Administers general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Monitors vital signs and patient responses; takes corrective action as needed.
• Performs pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-anesthesia care planning.
• Maintains narcotic accounting and distribution.
• Responds to life-threatening emergencies and airway management under physician direction.
• May provide labor analgesia and participate in departmental improvement processes.
