Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Paramedic course with current Iowa and/or Illinois Paramedic certification.
• Iowa Critical Care Paramedic endorsement required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS per AHA; EVOC within 1 year of hire; NIMS 100 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patients and provide lifesaving care per protocol.
• Initiate basic and advanced airway management.
• Provide care across neonate to geriatric in pre-hospital and hospital settings.
• Operate ambulance safely and transport patients.
