Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program required.
• MSN in Nursing required.
• PA license and NP licensure in Ohio required.
• ACLS preferred; BLS required.
• 1+ years as Physician Assistant and 1+ years as Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnoses based on assessment data and current research.

Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist for medical, surgical and ICU patients at Geneva Medical Center. This is a full time Day shift position with rotating weekends and holidays. Nurse Practitioners must have ACNP.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

What You Will Do

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships w/pts/customers (10%)

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
• 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
• Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
• Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
