Seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider for the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care unit at UH Cleveland Medical Center. The APP will manage post cardiac surgery patients both planned and emergent, durable and non-durable mechanical circulatory support, and lung and heart transplant patients with opportunity for procedural experience. The schedule is rotating days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Nurse Practitioners must be acute care. Cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
